People are always telling us that we should audition for the X- Factor
”Use it as means of fast-tracking” what they imagine is and in reality is a long haul towards musical recognition.
I confess the idea started to look appealing-call it a moment of insanity followed by a few more moments of insanity.
These shows have their value to people, however the sole aim is Celebrity (with a capital C-baby). Celebrity is an entity that is unique and has nothing to do with talent or ability. It is fair to say that some who appear on such shows are jettisoned into fame, fortune and recording contracts just as there are individuals who face national humiliation at the first hurdle.
X-factor et al. is the catalyst fulfilling Andy Warhol’s 15 min fame prediction.
So should X-Factor be revered as a nationalized service or reviled as an evil joke on the British populous?

Currently, the exchange rate for JP is 140 yen to the £Pound!!!! Perhaps the only people who really care about this news will be us Japanese, however this is shockingly expensive! As far as I know our currency has reached an all time low, (In my life time anyway).
We used to get 210 yen to the £Pound. The £Pound has never been this weak!
Gosh I always loved getting paid in pounds but not anymore, its worth **** nowadays!

I've been using Logic for many years now, but recently I’ve started to use Pro Tools. Reckon my PT plug-ins are pretty hot- overall quality is v v good. Even though I get my projects completed quickest on Logic (only cause i know my way around) it just might be time for a change....

Singing and playing to the great British Public was quite an experience. Thanks to all of you who stood in the rain and drizzle to listen to our songs. We were cold to the core but loved every minute of it..would we do it again.?
